Care Takers looking for new property

Hello everyone. My family of 3 (soon to be 4, I’m due September 18th.) are searching for a Care Taking position on property in exchange for rental/reduced rent. We have care took for 2 properties in exchange for rent (Nevada City, Grass Valley, Dutch Flat) and did care taking duties for recused rent at another (Alta). Our current home in Nevada City is no longer needing our assistance. So it’s time to move on. We have 4 weeks left at this time to be out by 8/6/24. I understand how hard rentals are to find.. and very stressed being 30 weeks pregnant! I’m currently on disability due to my pregnancy, and receive information weekly treatments at the hospital in Grass Valley; and my husband takes care of myself and my daughter along with the farm. I am a 11y veterinary assistant/manager, currently employed.

It’s myself, 28y female, my husband 32y male, and our 3.5y mentally disabled daughter. We have a small mini farm consisting of Red Bourbon Turkeys, Indian Runner Ducks, & mixed flock chickens. I have Border Collies, and indoor only cats. I sell fertile hatching eggs, eating eggs, ducklings, and poults currently. I always have rental insurance on every home we live in, and I maintain a tidy and clean home. I have multiple references available. I’ve been complimented on how clean we keep our home, “I wouldn’t know you hardly had animals, thank you for keeping the house so clean.” -last property manager.

We have done tree work, water line work, fencing, mowing pastures with a mower or a tractor, weeding, spraying, horse care, dog care, pond maintaining, gardening, land scaping, maintenance for property vehicles/equipment (oil changes etc), snow removal, live stock care, pickup mail, shopping trips for property items, etc just so much to list.

We are hoping for a rental with reduced rent, a yurt, or a trailer, or spot to bring a rv/trailer/yurt… somewhere we can reside and have our farm animals outside by us and keep our homestead and for me to feel safe to raise our new baby in.

We are a very hard working family and would love to help you, help us. ❤️
