Nevada City Electric is a growing electrical contractor serving residential and commercial clients throughout Nevada City and greater Nevada County. We're looking for a motivated electrical apprentice to join our team and learn the trade alongside experienced journeymen. Hands-on role with a clear path forward.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
-Assist journeymen and master electricians on residential and commercial job sites
-Rough-in wiring, panel installations, fixture and device installation
-Conduit bending, pulling wire, and general electrical work
-Follow NEC codes, company safety standards, and all job site rules
-Keep tools, materials, and work areas organized and clean
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
-0–3 years of electrical experience (entry-level welcome)
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - required
-Hands-on experience with tools, general construction, or mechanical work is a plus - and will be reflected in your starting pay
-Willing to work in varying conditions - indoors, outdoors, heights
-Able to lift 50 lbs and stand/kneel for extended periods
-Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn - we'll teach the rest
WHAT WE OFFER:
- $20+/hr to start - pay is determined by your experience with tools, building knowledge, and mechanical aptitude.
