I have 3 remaining heritage feeder piglets available, all are female. Mother is American Guinea Hog and Father is Red Mangalitsa. They were raised on their mother's milk but also offered supplemental raw goat milk. The combination has made them pretty friendly, they don't like to be held but will follow you around like a puppy. They spend their night safe in a barn but are allowed to roam and forage on a 2-acre pasture (with goats & a cow) during the day. They like to play with the family dog and run in packs I would recommend they not be kept alone. We had them checked by a vet shortly after birth. This breed has been easy to raise, easy on the fences, and the best tasting meat I have ever had. They are a slow grower, we finish ours at around 9 months and 200+ pounds. They are a lard breed and the extra fat gives the meat a flavor you can't get from the commercial varieties. The available piglets are just over 8 weeks old. They are eating food and trained to drink water with both a pig nipple and out of a bowl. We are asking $100 each or $250 for all three.
