this style of folk art furniture was made by South American native Indians in the early 40s
and later reproduced by some of the Mexican population in the 70s
and is now very sot after and has become harder to actually locate and retrieve them
there is a picture of the same chairs sitting in the native museum
in Tucson AZ shown in a 1947 Arizona highway magazine that I have
