I'm selling my beloved and beautiful looking and sounding JBL Speakers, with 15" woofers, in walnut Barzilay cabinets. All of the speaker components are genuine JBL, except for the cabinets which are original Barzilay kit cabinets constructed by the original owner. The JBL components were brand new when they were installed in the Barzilay cabinets, by the original owner. I am the second owner and have lovingly cared for and owned these beautiful speakers for over 20 years. These vintage JBL speakers have always lived in a smoke free home.
I opened each cabinet and documented all identification information from each component inside each speaker cabinet. I also took pictures…including pictures of the front of the D130 woofer in the 169R cabinet (I actually carefully unscrewed the woofer from the cabinet). The Woofers have consecutive Serial Numbers. All the other JBL speaker components have pretty much consecutive serial numbers as well. The speakers, tweeters and crossovers are in excellent to mint condition for their age. The Barzilay cabinets have glass tops protecting the walnut wood so they are in overall excellent clean condition. The speakers sound awesome paired with my Yamaha M80 amplifier and matching preamp (not included). These 16 ohm speakers would also pair nicely with a tube amp.
