A nicely illustrated review of the Nevada County, California of 1895, with emphasis on the prosperous gold mining industry. Includes histories and descriptions of prominent citizens. Advertisements with wonderful period graphics and fonts. A valuable research tool. Scarce.
An acceptable copy overall (Front and rear cover missing; spine repaired/reinforced and wear to corners of inner pages and some early leaves. Wear throughout the book in several spots). Otherwise the text block is intact and in acceptable shape for age.
