This is a spectacular Mountain Cabin - a large all-wood, rustically decorated yet modern, 9 year old abode in an awesomely quiet and beautiful location situated in the tall pines and cedars, near Bear Valley SKI AREA-Lake Alpine, Big Trees State Park, and the Carson-Iceberg wilderness area. It's NOT one of the dank, musty, dark wooden paneled, and poorly heated, shag carpeted old dumps in an overcrowded area you'd find at Tahoe! Sleeps up to 8, has wood burning stove (wood provided), central LPG heat. 3-bedrooms (Queen size bed in each with linens and pillows provided. The 2 lakes are drained in the fall and with miles of fire access roads nearby, excellent unsupervised X-Country skiing opportunities exist, provided there is ample snow coverage.
